Boldlisted is run by Jordan Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17358646), which is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions or requests: hello@boldlisted.com.
What we collect, and why
- The website you enter and the country you pick, to run the check. We read that site's public home page, its robots.txt and whether it has an llms.txt file. The free tools read the same public files, and the llms.txt generator also reads the site's sitemap. This is business information, not personal data, unless your site is about you as an individual.
- A scrambled form of your internet address, kept for two days, so one connection cannot run unlimited free checks. The address itself is not stored.
- Your email address, only if you ask for the full report. We use it to send you the link to your report and, two days later, one follow-up about your results and our plans. Both emails have a link that stops all further emails. Our lawful basis is your request and our legitimate interest in following it up.
- Emails you send us. Mail to any boldlisted.com address is received by Resend and forwarded to our own mailbox so we can answer it. We keep it for as long as we need to deal with your message.
- Account and payment details if you subscribe: your email, your plan and the businesses you track. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Who processes it for us
- Netlify hosts the site and stores reports (United States).
- DataForSEO sends the buyer questions to the AI assistants. Only the questions are sent: no personal data.
- Anthropic (Claude) reads the public text of the website you enter, to write the questions and read the answers. No personal data is sent.
- Resend sends our emails and receives mail sent to us. Stripe takes payments.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google.
Where a provider is outside the UK, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the provider's equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Free reports: 12 months. Emails from report requests: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and no more than 24 months after your last report. Account data: for as long as you subscribe, then 6 years for invoices, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@boldlisted.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We set no tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser keeps the private key to a report you unlocked, your sign-in if you have an account, and the site and country you last checked, so the pages can pick up where you left off. All of it stays on your device.
